About Us Urban Retreat is a Wholesale/Retail furniture warehouse that offers low-cost, custom made residential furniture. We are an anti-retail, no frills, self-serve type environment. Urban Retreat offers the same styles that you can find at your favorite popular retail stores with more fabrics and finishes to choose from with a savings up to 45% off the retail price! How it all got started….. I started Urban Retreat after visiting a store on the West Coast, where I ordered furniture for my son. I learned that there was a way for me to get the popular retail look I desired at an incredible price. Hence, Urban Retreat was born! I decided to combine my love of shopping with my love of furniture by bringing a unique concept of lo-markup, quality furniture to the Washington DC Metro area.
